What is a SteadiCam Teleprompter?
SteadiCam teleprompters are usually just small monitors mounted on an Israeli arm over the lens. We can easily do this. But, if you want your talent to look directly into the lens you need a proper prompter. The problem has been the size of the traditional prompter needed to fit a professional camera was much too heavy for the SteadiCam. And the small, lightweight prompters wouldn’t fit the camera. Our Through-the-Lens SteadiCam teleprompter solves the problem. It mounts on the rod system directly in front of the lens. So it’s extremely lightweight and fits all cameras.
Resolving Wandering Eye Movement/Incorrect Eye Contact
SteadiCams have been used in movies and documentaries for a more stable and clean shot thereby eliminating or reducing the use of cranes and tracks. SteadiCam uses a stabilization system that combines the stability, flexibility, and mobility of a camera setup.
We use the same system in our SteadiCam Prompters. We mount small monitors over the lens, that is the rod system is directly in front of the lens, It is ightweight and works well with all cameras.
Our SteadiCam Prompters are best for documentaries that require the host to deliver a speech while walking through a set or on location.
Our Through-the-Lens SteadiCam prompter system makes eye contact possible. It will make the shoot flow naturally.
