Jersey Standing Set Studios
Jersey Standing Set Studios has a unique 10,000-square-foot, two-story building in Woodland Park, New Jersey, 30 minutes from Manhattan. It has a wide range of studio sets.
As you can see in the photographs below, we offer pre-staged “ready to go” sets that include multiples of every room in a house, an office, and outside facades for a restaurant, home entry, garage, and the Demons Gate haunted house.
Please let us know if you intend to bring your own crew and equipment or if you will need to use ours.
Floorplan Layout
You can rent the full studio for complete privacy, sound control, and access to everything, or you can rent it out per individual set. Our open floor concept allows you to quickly transition from one set to the next. Bathrooms, dressing rooms, and a cosmetics station are available on each floor.
Although there is no elevator to the second floor, there is a big wooden staircase on the front of the building that is easily accessible, as well as a metal spiral staircase inside the main entrance and garage door. There is plenty of free parking for cars and production vehicles.
First Floor
The primary entrance to Standing Set Studio is on the first floor. This floor also houses our craft room, which you can use during your breaks.
Master Bedroom
The master bedroom, which features a working bed, a rocking chair, a dresser, bedside tables with lights, and a window that can be illuminated to simulate day or night, is ideal for film shooting.
Black & Gold Podcast Interview Room
The 180 white cyc room is connected to another room to the right, which is our Black & Gold Podcast Interview Room. This space can also be used as a lounge for your shoot if combined with the white room. This area is also ideal for podcasting or doing interviews.
Doctors Office
The doctor’s office is ideal for companies, products, or services associated with medicine. It comes with a functional patient chair, a doctor’s chair, a table with three chairs seating, a scale, a drawer on wheels, and a bedside table on wheels. The enormous cabinet against the wall is a set piece that does not open or close. We also carry basic medical equipment, posters, and publications.
Kids Bedroom
The children’s bedroom is ideal for product shoots with children and babies. It comes with a working twin bed, a Mickey Mouse table and chair, and a bookcase filled with games, toys, and crafts. The crib is a prop on wheels that can be moved around, but it is not designed to support a baby’s weight.
Contemporary White Kitchen
The modern white kitchen is ideal for cooking shows, product ads, and movies. It comes with a working sink, stove, oven, microwave, and a window that can be illuminated to simulate day or night. When not in use, the island is mobile and features a functioning propane grill. Everything you’d need to cook is provided in the kitchen, including pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, cutting boards, and more. When opened, the refrigerator light works, but it is only a prop and does not keep anything cold or frozen. The craft room refrigerator keeps all perishables for your photo shoot cool.
Laundry Room
The laundry room is ideal for television shows, movies, and commercials. It has a practical cabinet, side tables, an ironing board, a rolling laundry basket, and a window that can be lit to imitate day or night. Props include the washer, dryer, and sewing kit.
Modern Living Room
The modern living room is ideal for watching television, movies, and advertisements. It has a working couch, tables, lamps, a chair, and a window that can be illuminated to imitate day or night.
Blue Beach House Bathroom
The blue beach house bathroom is ideal for television shows, movies, and advertising. It comes with a working “movie magic” sink, light-up sconces, and a cabinet. Water does not come out of the shower head because it is merely a prop. The toilet is also a prop that can be moved around.
Pink Luxury Bathroom & Makeup
The pink luxury bathroom and makeup are ideal for television shows, movies, and advertising. It has a working shower, a bathtub, a “movie magic” sink, a makeup table, and a window that can be lighted to imitate day or night. Towels, robes, candles, and a shower chair are among the props.
Retro Podcast Interview
The retro podcast interview room is ideal for recording interviews, podcasts, television shows, movies, and commercials. It comes with two chairs and a central table.
First Floor Makeup
The first floor contains an entire section dedicated to makeup and hair, so you can get the camera ready for your big assignment. Bring your own or let us know if you need a glam crew and we will find one for you.

Demons Gate Halloween
The Demons Gate is a haunted house and a Halloween-themed set available all year. It is ideal for music videos, films, and advertisements. It is our most popular bespoke room since it is so distinctive and unlike anything else on the market. For an additional cost, it may be changed into the dark light photos you see below using a fog machine, skull throne, and our custom lighting.
Office Lobby
Music videos, films, and advertising would look great in the workplace lobby. It has a working couch, side chairs, a side table, a coffee table, doors, and windows that can be illuminated to imitate day or night.
Modern Office
The contemporary office is ideal for music videos, films, and advertising. It includes a useful chair, a desk, and a fully stocked cabinet. Some of the things in the office are the computer, calculator, mail tray, cup, optional cubical walls, and a white sofa chair.
Green Screen Room
The green screen room is painted chroma-key green on all three walls to make shooting and editing easier. If you want to live stream from anywhere in the world, this set lets you use any background you want! In this space, the options are limitless.
The green screen room is available for rent for $125 per hour with a two-hour minimum. It arrives pre-lit, as shown in the pictures.
180 White Cyc Room
The White Cyc room features a 180-degree white wall, allowing you to film from a broader angle and with numerous individuals in the frame.
You can also use our custom lighting to rapidly change the color of the space to whatever you want to exactly fit your vibe and theme for an additional cost.
