Mel B, as she is widely known, is a British singer, songwriter, rapper, dancer, actress, author, and television personality. She rose to fame and fortune as Scary Spice, a member of the girl group Spice Girls. She began her solo career and then partnered with Missy Elliot and released a very successful single “I Want You Back”. Her tenacity led her to follow this up by other hit singles. She’s expanded her interests since 2000. Mel B even became a contestant on Dancing with the Stars. She’s also been a presenter and a judge for the Australian version of The X Factor. Notably, she replaced Sharon Osbourne as one of the four judges for America’s Got Talent. She is zany and irrepressible. On a personal level she’s had short term relationships and has children. Apparently, she has settled down a bit and has assumed responsibility for her peripatetic life.
