Bill Milling has written, directed and produced over twenty feature films. Specific credits include writing for and directing such stars as Charlton Heston, James Earl Jones, George Kennedy, Lance Hendrickson, et al. His production resume includes an Emmy Award and The Action for Children's Television Award for UNICORN TALES, NBC children's television series. Bill has produced and directed films and award winning documentaries in over fifty-seven counties. He has worked in virtually every media including 3D and IMAX. He functioned as production supervisor on seven major Hollywood feature films such as LUCKY NUMBER SLEVEN and many HBO specials such as THE LATE SHIFT. In addition to his sole writing feature film and TV credits, he has written additional material and done rewrites on many feature films and Network TV shows. His is the former president of Sigmax, Inc. a Japanese-American production and distribution company specializing in original TV production well as remastering Japanese animation (anime) and feature film projects for the American and Hispanic markets. Bill has produced and/or shot for the New York units of: GOSSIP GIRL, BIG SHOTS, FRIENDS, WILL AND GRACE, Everybody Loves Raymond , Mad About You, King of Queens , and many others. For the past ten years he has been Producer/Director of The American Movie Company. Bill taught feature screenwriting and film production at the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU. He holds a BA in Philosophy and a BA in Classical Languages from Seton Hall University , a BA in English from Montclair State University , an MA in English Literature, an MA in Cinema Studies, a PhD, and ABD in Cinema Studies at NYU.
