February 13th, 2013 By Valentin Ewan Jean-Michel Basquiat may have died young but his artwork lives, vibrant and celebrated still. The Jean-Michel Basquiat exhibition, which features some of the prolific artist’s most well known pieces, opened to great fanfare last week at Gagosian gallery in Chelsea, drawing massive and diverse crowds. With the opening of the exhibition at 6:00 PM the gallery quickly became packed, and only thirty minutes later there formed a line of hopeful entrants that stretched down the entire block. The vast number of people drawn to the show or those unwilling to wait filled other nearby galleries and turned what had been just an empty street […]

Best Camera for Webcasting via TriCaster There are a number of good options for camera choices for the new HD TriCaster models like the TCXD450 and TCXD850, if one is (as I am) considering great sports coverage at a very affordable price.. I have a personal stake in this as need to WebCast my nephew’s baseball games all summer and will want to buy eight cameras for our TriCaster 850 extreme. (Actually, I would want the eight cameras anyway to save on the crazy rental costs.) Right now I’m renting Sony EX3’s. Great cameras, but I think we can do better, with these new offerings form Panasonic and BlackMagic. I’d […]

All of the country, green screen studios have increased in popularity in video productions. A lot of things you seen on TV or in movies was filmed using a green screen. By using a green screen, you can make videos that are more exciting than ever before. Don’t start in video production until you know about perhaps its greatest and most creative asset: green screens.
TriCaster disaster averted by an amazing catch by our quick thinking bikini models. We had a live WebCast scheduled for Microsoft execs in five cities: New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston and Miami. What was unusual about the Miami TriCaster gig ,was the fact that we were aboard a rather amazing yacht cruising the inland waterway far from an Ethernet connection. Normally, WebCasting without an Ethernet connection or active Wi-Fi is not possible. but thanks to the amazing Vazzat wireless web system from KenCast, we were doing an eight camera 1080p HD live web streaming shoot with a prototype Newtek TriCaster 855. We boarded the yacht in Ft Lauderdale […]
